LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Looking to extend its win streak against West Georgia, the University of West Alabama women’s basketball team returns to the hardwood on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. against the Wolves. Air time of the Gulf South Conference contest on ESPN 104.9 FM begins 15 minutes prior to tip-off.

LIVINGSTON, ALA. - Having won three out of their last five games on the season, the University of West Alabama men’s basketball team (6-13, 3-3 GSC) entertains West Georgia (17-3, 4-2 GSC) Saturday at Pruitt Hall beginning at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to attend and sign up for a chance at $10,000 in the EconoLodge Inn and Suites Shootout.

LIVINGSTON, Ala. – Six home contests and a game against Division I-FCS member Samford highlight the 2012 West Alabama football schedule, which was announced by UWA Director of Athletics Stan Williamson on Thursday. Last season, West Alabama finished with an 8-4 record, including hosting a NCAA Division II playoff first round game - the first in the program's history.
