Hill Earns Third GSC Track Athlete of the Week Award this Season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – West Alabama women's track and field sprinter Kaitlin Hill was named Gulf South Conference Track Athlete of the Week based on her performance at the Berry Field Day Invitational.
 
Hill had an impressive performance on the track, placing first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.52. She also walked away with first place in the 200-meter dash, stopping the clock at 24.08.

Hill picked up another first-place finish in the 4x100 meter relay, along with Mikia Hutchings, Annaya Chelcy, and Isila Apkup.

Hill and the rest of the Tiger track and field team will compete in the Crimson Tide Invitational at Harry-Pritchett Running Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
