UWA Women’s Rodeo Set To Compete at the Boll Weevil Stampede at UAM

MONTICELLO, Ark. - The West Alabama women's rodeo team is set to compete in a three day event, Thursday through Saturday, at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, at the Drew County Fairgrounds.
 
Long Round will start Thursday 7 p.m. followed by slack after the rodeo. Slack will continue on Friday at 9 a.m. with the last long round finishing up with performances starting at 7 p.m. The Championship round will take place Saturday at 1 p.m.
 
The Tigers placed fourth in the Pearl River Community College Rodeo, with two first place finishes.
 
"We need to keep focusing on one run at a time," head coach Daniel Poole said. "Control what we can and let go of what we can't."
