Lori Galloway was a standout pitcher/first baseman from 1988-91, leading the Tigers to four consecutive GSC Championships and an outstanding 145-62 overall record. The Slidell, La., native was a three-time All-GSC and four-time Academic All-GSC selection and posted one of the most dramatic pitching performances in UWA history, tossing a no-hitter in a 4-0 Tiger win over Tennessee-Martin in the 1990 GSC Tournament. Galloway still holds several records at UWA, including winning percentage (71.9) and shutouts (24) and is regarded as one of the best softball players and student-athletes in school history.
